Special Notice! - As of June 16, 2009, you will need to enter a TEN character account number (six numbers, a dash, then three numbers such as 123456-789). If you are paying an older utility bill that does not have the new account number format, simply "pad" your number with zeros. For example, an account number of 1234 becomes 001234-000 and 1234-1 becomes 001234-001.

Now Single Family and Duplex utility customers can pay your utility bill with a credit or debit card, or an e-check 24 hours a day with this fast, convenient and free service. There are NO convenience or service fees or charges to utilize this Internet-based payment service!

E-Check Payments made before 3:00 PM (Renton time) on a business day (business day excludes weekends, Federal and City Observances) will be credited on the following business day. Payments made after 3:00 PM or on a weekend or Holiday will be credited following two business days.

Important: If you are making a payment for an anticipated water shut-off, please call the Utility Billing Department during our business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at (425) 430-6852 to confirm your payment. If water is already shut-off, the balance must be paid in full using either a credit card online, or with cash or a credit card at City Hall. Debit cards or e-check are not accepted methods of payment to restore water service.

Opt-out of address lookup - If you would like to restrict the ability to look up your account using your address, please notify the Utility Billing Department at (425) 430-6852 during our business hours.

Search Tip: For address searches, try entering your house number and only the first letter (or number) of your street name. For example, to search for "1222 RENTON PL NE", in "House No:" enter street number 1222 and in "Street Name:" Enter R, click "Go", then choose your address from the displayed list.
